Leonard is a superbly smooth masculine sensual romantic R&B vocalist whose voice you may have heard on many national commercials. He also writes intriguing original material set in a variety of contemporary grooves. This award winning singer/songwriter was originally from Chicago, then moved to Los Angeles to study business and songwriting. He is a graduate of the prestigious UCLA Music Business and Songwriting program. He has a Bachelors Degree and Masters Degree from CSU. He has since relocated in Baltimore, Maryland.
Moss released his first CD, Welcome To Satisfaction, which debuted at number 1 on Billboard Talent Net. Leonard was featured in the video "I Ain't Mad at Cha," starring the late great rap legend Tupac Shakur. He co-starred on an episode of the hit T.V. show "Suddenly Susan," starring Brooke Shields. He was a frequent performer at many national and local California music festivals and was one of the most sought after session singers in the LA area. Leonard is currently in the Studio working on the follow-up to his highly successful debut album with the brilliant producer Joe Simon (who has worked with Fiona Apple and Billy Idol).
Critics say Moss’s music is filled with infectious hooks, tasty melodies & great lyrics with a powerhouse vocalist. This is real R&B music inspired by the true framers of soul. To date Welcome to Satisfaction has sold thousands of copies. Leonard was nominated for Best R&B Album and Single by the JP Folks group and has been featured on BET, Iuma.com, and in Billboard and Music Connection Magazines for his artistry and the success of his debut album.
A winner of the first World Championship of Performing Arts, representing the United States of America; Leonard won 2 gold medals and 1 silver medal in the R&B, Pop and Gospel genres with over 22 countries competing, this was no small feat. He was selected as the best Male Vocalist.
Moss was a student in Cat Cohen’s UCLA songwriting classes.
