Susannah is a singer-songwriter who has released two EPs and a full-length album called Happy Today (recorded under the name Camp Susannah. On her new CD Let’s Pretend she collaborated with producer-singer-songwriter Rich Jacques. Her music has been described as catchy, groove-driven, alternative adult-contemporary pop-rock. Her songs have been featured on MTV’s hit show “My Super Sweet Sixteen”, in the feature film “My Super Ex-Girlfriend” and heard on over 200 college radio stations across the country.
Born and raised in New York City, Susannah started singing professionally in nightclubs and off-Broadway when she was twelve. As an actress, she appeared in a number of TV movies, sitcoms and plays on both coasts. She made her roadway debut in Best Little Whorehouse Goes Public and was featured on the show’s cast album recording. She’s also a published playwright and screenwriter who co-wrote the film Bellyfruit which premiered at the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival and ran on Showtime. For that project, she was thrilled to write the opening title song with the wonderfully talented producer Stephen Bray, (also a Cat Cohen Alumnus).
Currently, Susannah’s award-winning screenplay Undercover Crew is being developed as both a film and TV series and features two original songs written by her for the character of a teen pop star. She’s also writing an original movie-with-music about singers. She lives in Silverlake in LA.
Blinkoff attended Cat Cohen’s songwriting classes and song structure workshops as well as studying with him privately on the keyboard.
