Barry is a higher education consultant and songwriter with a talent for theatrical music and a strong interest in Jewish culture as well as the topic of aging.  He has recently had success in having some of his works presented on stage in the LA area.

  While working on campus at UCLA, Bortnick attended Cat Cohen’s songwriting classes.
