Gilli is a Hollywood based Australian singer-songwriter, who delivers music, art and a brave sense of self-expression in her energetic, sensual and expressive performances and recordings. Her restless creativity and rebellious nature continually urge the artist to push the envelope when writing a song, recording in the studio, on stage, painting a canvas, or with whatever she touches.

Born in Milan Italy, and raised on solar power in the wilderness "bush" just north of Sydney, Australia, Moon is a force to be reckoned with in the music industry worldwide.  She lives in Hollywood, California, but always calls Australia home. For the past 10 years, Gilli (pronounced as with a "J") has been one of Australia's most influential and iconic figures based in the USA, forging an independent path before anyone knew what "indie" was. She has produced and released 5 studio music albums of her original music, to critical acclaim, released several EPs and singles, written hundreds of songs, winning songwriting and artist awards and licensing to film and television show, and has performed around the world many times over. Her albums include "Girl In The Moon" (1998), "temperamental angel" (2001), "Woman" (2003), "extraOrdinary life" (2005) and "Skillz" (2009), the latter dedicated to empowering at-risk youth (released with L.A's celebrity spoken word/hip hop artist J.Walker).

Gilli is an energetic poly-media artist, with multifaceted albums and dynamic live shows that have touched music lovers worldwide garnering high praise from the most jaded of critics.   Moon is the quintessential renaissance woman, with a ceaseless contribution to the creative and artist community at large.

Gilli also produces albums for other artists and has created opportunities and avenues for artists worldwide through her non-profit songwriters organization, Songsalive!, plus two books about succeeding in the music industry, "I AM A Professional Artist" and "Just Get Out There".

Currently recording her 6th album, "The Stillness", (due out early 2010), Gilli's ultimate passions rest in writing songs, recording in the studio, and performing on the stage. It is through her catalog of hundreds of songs, music productions, and unique, evocative and energetic live stage performances, that she sees her truest talents and inspirations, keeps a fire in her belly to purge her life stories and quest for truth.

Cat Cohen and Gilli go back almost two decades when she was just starting up her now international songwriters group Songsalive! at a local recording studio.  He has been a frequent song critiquer for her organization ever since.  She was also a welcome guest at his UCLA classes.  They partner participation in LA pop music events regularly.
